A golden carpet lies at the edge of the ocean, frayed edges of the beach.
A fringe created by wear and weather, the flotsam and jetsam create a fragile froth of debris that creates patterns along the rim.
Instead of the natural frothy curves and bubbles at the water’s edge, I have used geometric forms to express human involvement in this space.
