A hands-on, process-led mixed media creative art journey that explores creativity without the pressure of perfection.
We will work with various art techniques; painting, collage, mark making and asemic writing to build a painting up in layers as we explore depth and texture and learning to work with what emerges and evolves as we create.

Instead of focusing on an object to paint, in negative painting, we create the in between spaces surrounding the forms, the gaps and the pauses, allowing unexpected shapes to emerge.
Using a variety of stamps and paint washes to create depth and explore the history of the artwork.

Designed to give you a foundation on which to build freedom of expression through visual art, we will embark on a journey exploring various painting and creative art techniques.

What you bring
A willingness to step outside some of your comfort zones to fully explore your creative nature.
- All art materials will be provided.
- It is suggested that you wear clothes that don’t mind a bit of a paint splash.
